Denise Talbot – Board Member
Denise is a gerontologist and a Family Care Consultant for the North Central Region for
the Alzheimer’s Association. Denise received her MA in Human Development and Gerontology
from St Joseph’s College, West Hartford, CT and her BS in Music Education from Central
Connecticut State University.
Denise has written extensively on subjects such as caregiving, residential and housing
choices, grief and bereavement, long-term care and long-term care insurance. She is also
an associate editor of the Encyclopedia of Retirement and Finance. She brings a wealth
of knowledge to One Full House, Inc. on many aspects of senior issues. Denise has presented
at the Association of Gerontology in Higher Education, Vanderbilt University, and at various
professional conferences.
In addition to working Denise is a violinist and section leader in the West Hartford Symphony
Orchestra.
